Portion sizes were good, we got the $44 share platter which could have had a little more variety on it. I liked the cheesy garlic bread, and we shared the main dish of pork ribs which was cooked to perfection with a good flavour. Spent $100 not including drinks, so I feel like it was a bit on the pricey side. But it was a nice meal and the staff were attentive and friendly.

During our family's visit to Perth, we had the pleasure of discovering this remarkable restaurant—a true gem! We went for Christmas Dinner Buffet. We did expect a bit more for the amount we paid although it is expected that dining on Christmas is going to be expensive regardless. The food was ok, there was some variety but the quality wasn't the best. For Christmas Dinner we would have expected more of an atmosphere. I would say the restaurant is catered for an older generation of dinners. The place is clean and perhaps for a standard buffet we would have been happy.

The food is quite tasty, however I would say it isn't as decadent as others describe. We have been here twice now with varying group sizes. The mains (steak) are ok but on the pricey end for the quality (understandable as it is a hotel-restaurant). However, you might expect a restaurant on terrace road/Langley Park to be just a tad more quality! We ordered dishes to share like tapas on another occasion and the food again, was decent and filling in the end. The only thing I would specifically point out is that the chrorizos/salami on any dish was a bit dry and tough. I would recommend it for a casual style restaurant, but it doesn't transcend fine-dining which we believe Gusti is potentially trying to inch to. I indicated it was one of our guest's birthday, but this was not acknowledged. (Not that it was mandatory, but the options came up to select when i was booking, you would expect that might be something). Staff took our drinks and food orders but queries why we only ordered 1 drink less than the amount of people at the table...it needed to be explained that 1 did not drink alcohol and water was sufficient... however the rest of the night, we were not asked to get further drinks/had to ask each time for more tap water. Not a complaint per se, just not what you'd expect from a restaurant that is endeavoring to be 'nice'. I would also recommend booking on external websites (they used to have 30% off and other deals - it pays to shop around).

Oh my goodness that was so good. We had the tasting plate and it was so delicious. The fried bread tasted amazing and the Mac and cheese - oh my goodness fried Mac and cheese. My friend had the steak which she really enjoyed. I had the salmon and I could not stop saying how good it was it was just delicious. On and on!!! All the tastes together in that dish.

Fantastic view, food wasn't bad but the service was something else. No one was friendly or polite. Everyone looked very unimpressed and unhappy. Coffee person was exceptionally rude delivering to the wrong table twice then arguing that it was the right table and just walking off. Even though the table next to us was waving for their coffee that was on our table. We ended up serving it ourselves at the correct tables. Really interesting customer service to say the least. Won't ever return.
